Samui sport is mostly racket courts, water and combat gyms. Padel has at least five dedicated clubs; we list three, in Lamai, Plai Laem and central Bophut, and Bantai Padel and Purple Padel Samui are the others. Padel courts run roughly 600 to 1,800 THB (17 to 51 USD) per court-hour, depending on covered or open-air courts, time of day and club. Rates are per court, so splitting four ways is much cheaper per head.
Kiteboarding Asia runs Hua Thanon on the southeast coast and Nathon on the west coast, switching with the wind. Its school lists roughly December to April at Hua Thanon and May to November at Nathon. Confirm which base is open before travelling.
