Samui nightlife is concentrated in Chaweng, where the clubs, the cabaret and the live-band pub sit within a few minutes of each other. Bophut's Fisherman's Village is calmer, with beach bars and fire shows, and the hotel bars in Maenam and Lipa Noi trade late nights for sunset sessions. Most venues charge no entry fee and make money on drinks.
